Memorable Visit of Austrian Ambassador at Sleeping Buddha Rocks!
We had the honor of welcoming H.E. Mrs. Andrea Wicke, the Austrian Ambassador to Pakistan, for a remarkable visit to the historic Sleeping Buddha Rocks at Capital Smart City.
During the visit, Mr. Anjum Dara, Deputy Director Archeology Punjab, provided a captivating briefing on the ancient history of the Gandhara civilization and the profound significance of this historical site. It was an enlightening experience exploring the depths of our rich heritage.
Following the tour, an exquisite brunch was enjoyed in the company of esteemed individuals including Mr. Zahid Rafique Chairman FDHL, Mr. Jahanzeb Zahid Managing Director FDHL, Mr. Muhammad Aslam Malik Group COO, Mr. Abid Kabir Cheema CEO of Silicon Village, and event organizer, Peer Syed Mudassir Shah, Chairman Sufi Council. The event gathered diplomats, members of the business community, and senior executives from international organizations.
The occasion was made even more enchanting with captivating performances by renowned artists Mr. Wajih Nizami and Irfan, filling the air with the melodies of classical music. A special highlight of the day was the mesmerizing performance by Sahibzada Saman Sultan, a descendant of the great Sufi Hazrat Sultan Bahu (RA). The spiritual aura was truly uplifting.
